National parking enforcement ltd/Gladstones solicitors

Hello,

First of all I have spent hours reading threads and I realise I am stupid for ignoring tickets in the first place. I am a community nurse in Norwich and I have gained 2 parking tickets for visiting a patient in the residential flats at Earlham house shopping centre. In December 18 I have recieved 2 different “letter before claims” on gladstones solicitors headed paper one stating to 2 parking charges one charging me for both twice. I have emailed asking for the data they hold on me using a template on the newbie post but have had no response. I can post the letters if someone can explain how to.

Many thanks and sorry if I have missed something and I didn’t need to post.

Is this the first correspondence you received? No Notice to Keeper from the PPC? Have you actually sent the appeal in BLUE text from the NEWBIE thread or did you just submit a SAR? The PPC's have a certain time to respond to both, the SAR is thirty days so not likely to have elapsed yet. The appeal will depend upon who is the PPC but typically 30 days and the idea is to elicit a POPLA code for second stage appeal.

NPE are IPC members so there is no PoPLA and no viable independent second stage appeal available.

Have you contacted the landowner or manging agents to complain?

You must respond to the LBCs as a priority. You should also chase the response to your SARs if they haven't responded in 30 days. Complain to the ICO and SRA if they fail to do so.

  • No I don’t believe I recieved any PCN from the PPC. These date back to March 18 according to Gladstones letter. I am trying to find out who the landowner is, there are shops and flats in said area. I will now re-read the newbie post and reply to the LBC. It literally just lists the fees so they are breaching practice direction.

Do the letters before claim give you 30 days to respond and did they come with financial forms? You do not fill in the forms but it helps to determine if they are genuine LBC's
