Hi
I replaced my wifi/Bluetooth card recently. While I was there I upgraded from a 802.11 b/g/n card to a 802.11ac
Everything is fine, except with one pair of cheapo bluetooth headphones. Windows sees them but after trying to add them as a bluetooth device, it returns":
Computer is Levono Yoga2Pro laptop.
New card is Intel 7260NGW Wireless LAN Wifi Bluetooth 4.0 Dual-Band Card 802.11ac ( Link )
Headphones are Chinese, "S6", possibly these ("Universal 4.1"). I have had them a couple of years, no problems.
I have a few identical pairs of these headphones. They all have the same problem on the new card. They are OK on other devices.
Other bluetooth devices are OK with the main PC/card.
I have removed/placed the card drivers in the PC (device manager).
any ideas? thanks

check the PIN and try connecting again cancelThere is nowhere to key in a PIN. This solution to a similar problem suggests keying in the pin anyway, but (1) I don't have a PIN (and don't think there ever was one) and (2) there is no field into which you could enter a pin (just the error message and a 'cancel' button). I have tried 0000 Enter; 1234 Enter; and 9999 Enter at that screen, just on the offchance. But no joy..

Actually, forget it. I kicked off a Windows "check for updates" session then tried to bluetooth-connect the headphones while it was running and, presto!, everything works as it should. Happy days.0
