Very.co.uk Absolute shambles!

Hi,

I ordered a display cabinet from Very in December. When it was delivered it was only the top half of the unit which arrived. I didnt realise this until I was building it as it was delivered to a neighbour. To resolve this I only wanted the bottom half delivered asap.

After hours of phone calls and being passed from pillar to post, being cut off, waiting hours for a callback and generally being treated poorly they arranged to pick up the top half of the item. However the van "was too full" to take it. wow.

Off the phone to them again and back to square one. They have my money have made no attempt to refund, and I keep going rounds in circles with them. Does anyone have any idea how I can go about getting my money back? I have spent hours on this already and they have not replied to my complaint online or have an e mail address.

thanks
Bilko

Sadly not a valid e mail address for them anymore - but thanks!

Got an email from a "donotreply" address earlier offering me a 15% refund but I dont think this is acceptable given the time it's taken and the fact that 50% of the product was missing.

Really don't know what to do as everytime you try and call them you get the same scripted response after about 10 minutes of explaining the situation.

    How did you pay.
Also ring and ask to speak to a manager, don't take no for an answer

I paid the full amount on debit card up front. They arranged to deliver it again, but when the driver turned up it was to collect the item. Refused to take it again.

Im now trying them again, and the agent who answered point blank refuses to put a manager on! Been waiting for ages.

Im getting so frustrated at the lack of customer service and the fact I havent been offered any help from them.

Been on the phone for 35 minutes to someone who refused to put me trhough to a manager, the team leader also refused to take me call. Is this any way to treat a customer?

So I got through to someone via the live chat - who transferred me to the "upholestery team" once again.

They have told me that to get the bottom half of the unit delivered I would have to pay for the entire unit to be delivered! Alternatively they have offered again a 15% discount and I can keep half the unit.

I asked to speka to a manager about the situation and they told me there would be no point as the manager has no further options than to offer me the same thing. I have booked for the manager to call me at 630 pm tomorrow but not holding my breath.

    I feel robbed :(

Flabbergasted at the lack of care :(

Try old fashioned way of a letter simply stating the issue eg you ordered x and received only half the item and have been trying to get the other half delivered but to no avail.
