PL Insurance with a CCJ

Hi there
My husband runs a landscaping company and we have Public Liability Insurance with AXA via a broker. The broker has changed the company they use to Royal Sun Alliance and at renewal they have offered us a policy with RSA. The statement of facts states my husband has no CCJs. He does have one. I know I was never asked specifically about CCJs when we took out the policy via the broker with AXA as I worked in insurance so would never withhold or give false info. Now I am having trouble finding someone who will provide Public Liability Insurance for him even though the judgement is marked as satisfied. Does anyone know a company that provides Public Liability to those with a CCJ?

I rang a local broker for a PL quote and told them about the CCJ. They have put us back with AXA as AXA do not specifically ask about CCJs. And this quote was £30 cheaper than the original online broker we had used! Pays to speak to a human and check your renewal premium out before just renewing. And always check your statement of fact if your broker offers you a renewal with a new company as not all insurers ask the same questions or want to cover the same kind of risk.0
