  • Next time you read a story about the NHS being in a financial crisis and rationing treatment - think of the OPs relatives syphoning cash from the NHS to line their pockets.

    They are scum pure and simple.

    And of course as an employee mum is getting itemised pay slips, holidays, national insurance etc. Or if self employed she is following hmrc guidance?
    She's leaving herself wide open when it all goes pearshaped, unless the company can provide clear evidence that they're acting legitimately.

    The local council should also be informed too, as they're the ones that pay the direct payments.
  • I agree. I know this would be very difficult for your mother, but one has to ask what else is going on that she doesn't know about with regard to finances and her relative's care.
