    I find this confusing, 60 is no longer the state pension age for women. If the OP was 60 in 2015 that means she was born in 1955. From what I can see from an online search she will be 66 before she can claim a state pension. https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/articles/check-your-state-pension-age I was born in 1951 and was 62 before I could claim my SP.


    How has she been getting £18 SP for 2 years???




    Have I totally missed the plot?????

    IF you qualify on old rules, it is my understanding that 18 is reduced amount on Your contributions. Which are made up to the full amount. Not the full amount plus 18.

    But w/o going back don't know how old your husband was when you retired

    I should have started receiving my pension on 6/nov 2014.
