As Mundi has "rightly" mentioned, these codes are available, a lot of them free. If your prepared to pay for the code, youll have better success taking it to any number of mobile repair shops n stalls, who will do it over the counter for around a fiver. At least if they fail to do it, you dont pay them a bean that way.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

AVOID unlock-central.co.uk - they are con artists and arrogant and rude.
Their webste quoted/still quotes £1.99 (NOT from £1.99) and then charged £2.79 plus vat (which is not mentioned anywhere on the site). I then got an email saying the code for my phone was not available but they would keep my money - as per their T&Cs.
Only saving grace is they refunded my PayPal payment.
This is the exchange I had with them:
I'm sorry but you were sent a patronising response to your equally
patronising email. As you seem to only be interested in arguing, we
have refunded your paypal account.
Regards
Chris

I had the exact same experience of the other posters. I paid a total of £2.79 for an unlock code and paid straight away through paypal. My email came confirming my order. Next day another email arrived telling me that a code was not available for that phone and a refund was not available but a credit would be held for me. After 3 or 4 attempts to redeem this credit all I had was the same computer generated reply and no unlock code. Some months later I tried a different firm for a code for another phone for my daughter. Same outcome, so I lodged a dispute with paypal and managed to get my money back immediately. Turns out both companies are operated by BMC media. Anyone reading this if you are thinking of obtaining an unlock code online and paying with paypal, check who the money is going to. If its BMC media, DO NOT complete the transaction. You would be better off going to a shop and paying once the job is done. At least then if it can't be done you don't pay!!0

I use Vodafone, and I needed to unlock a 14 month old Samsung phone, when I contacted them, they gave me an unlock code for free, and it worked.
Maybe worth a try to your service provider.:beer:0 -
Thanks for that. Definitely worth a try.0

The impression I got from the post was that you can't get any unlock codes for this price. No model was quoted in the post (or by the OP of this thread).
Quote............no one can provide unlock code for 2.79 GBP
There are many models (not all though) that can be unlocked for free using a code. All the information regarding free unlock codes is available on the link to the board I posted.
My Samsung U900 Soul has packed up which is on Contract with Vodaphone, but my daughter has a spare (same phone) PAYG on 3, can I get this unlocked to use with my sim.0
