Lagging on lead pipe in cellar

I live in a Victorian terrace and we have a cellar. The water supply pipe is lead and our boiler is in the cellar too.

The cellar seems to be fairly consistent in temperature all year round — I am not sure it ever drops below 5C down there — but all the same all our copper pipes have lagging on.

Do you think it is worth putting lagging on the lead pipe? Are they more/less likely to burst than copper? My said the pipe was likely really thick so would be unlikely to ever burst but I wanted a second opinion.

Thanks.

Foam pipe insulation is pretty cheap and easy to fix on with some cable ties so why not, particularly if it addresses any concerns you might have and iIt might also reduce any condensation issues on the cold pipes.

But that said, if the pipe is original then it must be pretty old, 40+ years or more, which suggests it's lasted well so can't be freezing that often!

Yes, you are probably right, thanks. It was more time and hassle than cost. :)
