Car on PCP can we go anywhere after term is up

A dealer can make any offer they like for the OP's car and if this is less than the finance settlement and they are upfront with the OP about it this I don't see how this is "borderline fraudulent". I'm not for one minute suggesting they would try and do something dodgy behind the OP's back just that he needs to make sure he goes with his eyes open and get a valuation of his car done first to see what his best options are.0

Agreed. Thats why its important not to use phrases like "they'll roll into another deal for a few quid a month more. It happens all the time" as its muddying the waters for the O/P.
It isnt a real world option at the end of a PCP deal, and should not be stated as such.0 -

And for the last time I never stated it was :wall:
Bearing in mind the O/P said they wanted to know what their options were at the end of their PCP deal you've said twice now..if there's negative equity that will be rolled into the next deal. Pretty much standard practise. If you go to another manufacturer's dealer with the intention to part-ex there is a very good chance the salesman will come back and state that their valuation won't cover the finance settlement and if the owner wants they'll roll into another deal for a few quid a month more. It happens all the time!
At the end of a PCP term, no its NOT standard practice and no it DOESNT happen all the time, so either you were either wrong or you needed to be explicit about what you meant relative to this thread and the O/P's circumstances, as you may otherwise confuse the O/P with misinformation.0 -
The best thing you three can do is block eachother. Nobody is interested in your petty squabbling. Put your opinion over to the OP in one post. It really isnt in keeping with the spirit of this forum to be arguing the toss 24/7. Dont waste your time responding to this, you are all about to be put on my ignore list.

And to answer OP, you can go anywhere you like after your PCP ends.0 -

Two things :-- The O/P got that from me in post #2 some 8 minutes after they posted yesterday and from Adrian and Neil in the next two posts.
- What exactly did you bring to the party by repeating it 1 1/2 days later?

I didn't mean to cause an argument.
