HiSave Accouont with ICICI

I've just set up one of these and when I got the login and passwird details I closed the account as they simply comprise of numeric strings which you can not change to something safer. Numeric strings are very unsafe for online banking and can be easily broken. Otherwsie ICICI proved very efficient and kept me well infomed of progress is setting up the account. Pity about the lack of security

    I think you are worrying unduly.

    If someone tries to access your account and types in the wrong information 3 times, ICICI will block access to your account.

    Even if someone managed to gain access to a ICICI account - they can only withdraw funds to your nominated current account... so would need access to this as well, before they could access your money..!
