UKCPS - Newbie post read.

Hi Guys,
We've read through the newbie post and still do not feel any clearer as to what action to take. My other half received a Parking Charge from UKCPS when parking at one of the car parks the doctors. To be fair there was clear signage in front of the car. However a sign behind the car pointing to the other car park stating that further patient parking at the second car park, so he assumed he'd parked in patient parking. They have uploaded clear photo's to their site of the sign and his car. UKCPS is listed on the IPC website. He received the letter after the 14 day period as it got sent to his old address (this is in the process of being updated) so now has to pay £100. Does he ignore, will this not end up having to pay more?

    do not ignore

the KEEPER who received the postal notice appeals it using the blue text template, unchanged

UKCPS will reject the appeal (they always do as there is no profit in acceptance)

after that its debt collectors letters and possible court within 6 years at your local civil court

so the best option is to complain to the landowners (practice manager if its the doctors) and get it cancelled

if it went to court and the keeper lost, it would be closer to £200 which a judge will determine
