Successful appeal

Just want to say how thrilled I was to have my appeal upheld. A £70 fine issued by Parking Eye for overstaying by 11 minutes in a 2 hr limit. Loads of reasons for this especially as the car park was full so I had to sit and wait for over 5 minutes for a space then I didn't have a pound for the shopping trolley so had to re-enter the store and queue 3 times. I had my receipts as proof and after initially receiving a reply saying my appeal had been refused, 2 days later I had another email upholding my appeal. I have never appealed anything in my life and am so grateful for the template on this site. Thank you. Sue.

Well done Sue. :T. It's great to read that the NEWBIES FAQ sticky can really help those who are determined to help themselves - the main purpose of the sticky.
Are you able to tell us which store and the value of your purchases there on the day please? It really does help us build a picture of where PE are operating and the level of spend that causes PE (maybe forces them via their contract with the retailer - a hidden clause, kept away from the motorist) to cancel.
Nice start to the new year for you. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
