I am with Scottish Power, I have a smart meter and solar panels; my fixed tariff ends at the end of this month.
I understand if I change supplier some functionally of my smart meter may be lost.

Will certain suppliers use the same smart meter and so I keep 100% functionallity?
My solar panel FIT is with Good Energy, I dont see much of a reason to change.

If you remain with Scottish Power, but simply ask for a new fixed tariff, you should lose no functionailty of the smart meter.
    Else you understand correctly ;)

If you are happy with Good Energy for your FIT, then remain with them for your FIT; there is no need for your energy supplier and your FIT supplier to be the same.

Your photo is of the in-home display which is not essential for the operation of the smart meter. Write down the model numbers of your smart meters and then contact support of the company you intend to switch to and ask if they will be able to read your smart meters.

When I switched from Scottish Power to EDF recently, EDF confirmed that they would not be able to read the smart meter "at this time" and I have to submit manual readings when they ask for them The SP in-home display continues to work and shows the meter readings and consumption but the tariff details and cost is related to the old SP tariff.
