Blyk - Avoid!

Hi

I am so annoyed with the mobile network Blyk at the moment. I wanted to port my Orange number to Blyk so I can take advantage of the free texts and calls whilst using my existing number.

I called Orange and got a PAC code from them without any problems. I then told Blyk the PAC code and I was told the number would be ported on the 30th October this was fine as it normally takes aound a week to port. Only problem was this date came and the number hadn't been ported .I rung them and they told me they had some technical problems but the number would definately be ported on the 7th November. This day came and the number still didn't port and so I rung again and was told there was a slight delay and it would be ported the next day (8th November)

This came and the number still wasn't ported over, I rung them today to be told the earliest date they can do it is now the 3rd December over 1 month after I first rung them.

So told them I wanted to cancel the current process and stick with Orange (as I have lost all confidence in Blyk) and was told I can't as once its in the system it has to be ported or the number will be lost. So now if I want to stick with Orange I have to port my number back again again and knowing how bad Blyk are I wouldn't be surprised if they had technical problems which stopped them offering PAC codes.

If they had told me in the first place it would take until the 3rd December I would never have bothered and just stuck with Orange but now I am stuck as they won't let me cancel the transfer.

To make things worse I went on the Blyk forum where there are other people in the same situation as me and one of them was told Blyk didn't want to give a date as they didn't know when they would be able to port number so it doesn't look very promising that it will even port on the 3rd December.

I don't know what I can do now I just want to stick with Orange without all the fuss of porting the number in and back out again. Sorry for such a long post I am just rather annoyed about it all at the moment

Thanks
Craig
