What's your worst pointless gadget feature

Not a useless feature/ gadget, but rather a feature you would expect for the price you paid, but didn't get;


Bosch upright freezer with no internal light.


Double oven with no light in the top oven.


Washing machine advertised as having a fifteen minute wash cycle, turns out its a cold wash and such a slow spin you have to then put it on another spin.


And yes, the Bosh tumble dyer that thinks it's done once a corner of a hanky size bit of the load is slightly dry.

Rather like the super quick dishwasher setting that leaves soggy chunks of tablet over your dishes.

Well this is not "feature" but Smartphone crackable Glass back cover. No more silly premier look with an inflated price please.

Worse, I have an S6 and therefore it needs the back unglued to change the battery - so I have all the "advantages" of an iPhone that I didn't want!

All those various special options and weight settings on microwave ovens — does anyone ever use those?

I’ve owned this microwave for 18 years but there are eight buttons I wouldn’t have a clue how to use or even what they’re for!
