british gas key meter user manual

Hi,
Have you contacted your Supplier (who may have some or be able to get one) or asked your local Meter Operator? Not all meters are fitted in the same regions.
I can honestly say, I've never seen anyone give out a manual over the years. However, Suppliers often have printable instructions.
Do you know the manufacturer & make? If so, you may find one on their website or via contacting them.:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0 -
What do you need to know?
Depends on the kind of key meter. If it is one of the new white ones the screens should be like this. Press the blue button to move between screens
A - Credit available/required
B - Only shows when in emergency - minimum credit needed to get electricity back on
C - Time & date
D - Date/Month/Year
E - Total credit loaded since installed/reset
F - Weekly charge (inc weekly charge for balance)
G - Total consumption (day + Night)
H - Day read
I - Cost of day kWh
J - Night read
K - Cost of night kWh
(Insert Key)
R - Max emergency credit available
S - Balance Outstanding
T - Weekly charge for balance
Sorry, I'll try and come back and fill in the rest0 -
