Euro parking services

Last November the driver visited a charity shop and parked on the car park outside the charity shop and went in to look for a new coffee table spent about 20 mins in the shop and left. Approximately 5 weeks later the drive got a letter from euro parking services saying they put a pcn on the vehicle and because the driver ignored it now got to pay £100.
the keeper of vehicle took a trip back to the charity shop to ask if they had cctv they did but they only keep a 2 week track of who's been in the store.Taking a photo parking sign rules and it said you are allowed to park on that land as long as your in one of the two shops that are on that land the other shop being a chemist so there fore I never breached there terms. The photos of my vehicle are only the rear and side of my car not of the pcn on my vehicle.
wrote back several times to state this and to say keeper was in the shop at the time.
So now 1 year later Gladstones solicitors are involved and county court business center Northampton I had to send off my defense which I got help with from citizens advice. I did nothing wrong I broke no rules how can they win this be the fee is now £245

edit your last post and remove any hint of who was driving
the DRIVER parked on the day
the KEEPER has received everything since that day
also split the above wall of text up into paragraphs so people can read it, because few people will read one long wall of text
have you revealed who was driving at the time ? (big mistake if yes)
post a copy of your DEFENCE below, minus any personal info , so no names or reference numbers or VRM details etc
also post the full POC and the charges breakdown on the claim form as well (but no references or personal details)
anyone can take you to court for any alleged problem, its up to a judge to decide who was right, under the law, not under morality. the job of a judge is to act within the law and to ensure that justice is done (not morality)
it may well be that a judge sides with your story, but the claimant is expecting to win under contract law , plus laws like POFA2012 etc, so if they can prove that the driver did break their parking contract rules, they may win (even though you state that no "rules" were broken (how do you know ? you are not a lawyer)
if the judge finds against you, then the driver did break the rules and did do "something wrong" , in theory the law of justice will prevail, but do not assume that you are right, because that is for a judge to decide, not you0 -
The experience of the regulars here is that CAB are clueless where private parking is concerned, and the general advice is not to use them for this.
We really need to see what you have said to both the scammers and their agents.
Do you have proof you were in the shop. A receipt or witness statement from a shop employer/volunteer would help.
Did you complain to the shop manager/landowner?
Have you complained to your MP yet about this unregulated scam?I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

No proof of being in charity shop because driver was only browsing but the fact that No PCN was on vehicle at the time they stated and no photographic evidence of any PCN being on there.
If there would have been a pcn on the day in question driver could have got evidence from the store but 5 weeks later volunteers cant remember or change0
