DVD problem

I have stupidly ( didn't read the whole item description) bought a set of DVD's from Ebay that are in Region 1.

I have been told I can buy a program/ebook off ebay that will allow me to make my DVD player region free.

Is this possible?

Are these to watch on a DVD player on the TV (as opposed to a PC DVD player)?

Many machines can be made region free easily, very easily infact, although some are more difficult.

Not sure if it is okay to post details here but if you pm me the make and model I will see what method is available.

No need to PM them, you can post the details here. It's not illegal to make your DVD player multi-region.

You should do it now, as when you make it multi-region it will play all DVD Video including your existing ones. So you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
