Please help with spyware problem

I want to start a new thread in the Techie forum because I have spyware/malware which i can not get rid of.

For some reason I cannot start a new thread in the Techie forum even though I'm signed in it keeps asking me to sign in again but i keep getting refused.

Can someone move this post to the techie forum as I can reply to post's in the techie forum.

After adjusting my computer settings to show all hidden files I now have 8 suspect malware files in my computer folders.

Carried out spyware/malware removal instructions 1-4 and windows defender found Trojan dropper:win32/messengerskinner but shows error 0x8050100f when I try to delete it.

Unable to download housecall or Panda online scan as I am running vista please advise.

Some of the spyware/malware is in my back up files so the restore will not work.

Altered computer settings to show hidden files now got 3 weird shortcuts on my desktop.

Desktop.ini twice and %userprofile% can I delete these?
