This is the start of the MMMing six week holiday.....

Make: I have made an embroidered letter for a banner we are making at craft club. I was very excited that the first letter I made was used in publicity shots for an email inviting more people to embroider a letter.

Mend: I have bought Super glue and Repair putty to mend a plate and the knife block. Watch this space......

Minimise: bagged up some stuff for the charity shop, but forgot it, and left it in the car!

    :)

    Good Morning,

Make: Repurposed an old desk into a planter, with some succulents from Lidl. Cost £5 in plants, and looks really nice. :j (Also counting this as minimising, as the desk came from my children's primary school. Probably 20 years ago. Has had various uses over the years, but had made its way to the garden shed).

Mend: Mended the chip in a plate with super glue. Also, glued the insole on a pair of sandals, while the superglue was out!

Minimise: Cut up some wood for the woodburner, and cleared some more undergrowth to make a Japanese garden. DH cleared nettles. All bagged up for a tip run on Monday.
  • Make Do & Minimise: Food from fridge & freezer

Mend: DH polo shirt & DH motorbiking under trousers

Minimise: Hundreds of photo negatives & several empty photo packets. Last 2 crates (from France) moved from dining room to spare room which is rapidly becoming the Room of Doom .... AGAIN :o Oh well at least everything is in crates or boxes :p

    Good morning,

Make: I made a ragu in the slow cooker. It smelled lovely all day. Used it to make a lasagne, and it was a bit disappointing 😔

Mend: Superglued a detached button back onto a chair.

Minimise: Mrs SD DH has also been minimising packs of photos, which have returned from being scanned and digitalised. He has been putting them back into their albums and having a good old remenis (Is this a word?) at the same time.

    Have a lovely day 😊

Minimising the cardboard & bubble wrap packing mountain that came with the kitchen units ;)
Not really able to do much else other that trying to keep the area clear to work in.

Only just discovered this thread, and hope I can join you for what's left of this year - and into 2020 if you carry on! :)

Will read the whole thread this morning, but as a starting point we're making do with eating out of the cupboards and freezer today. :D

    Good Morning MMMers

Make: I have been binge watching Kirsties Celebrity Craft programme. I have made many things in my head :rotfl: Lots of inspiration.

Mend: Wanted to take a dress on holiday, but it was too long, so I cut off the bottom tier.

Minimise: Another trip to the dump with garden waste.

    Keep on MMMing. :)
