VCS not sending NTK's. New tactic?

I've noticed there have been several threads recently where VCS have not sent the 'keepers' a postal NTK but > 8 weeks after the event when a myparkingcharge windscreen notice was given, have instead sent a 'Final Reminder' notice.

This 'Final Reminder' states that payment of the charge is due in full and it is too late to appeal.

I wonder is this a new approach and tactic being used by VCS to deny the keeper the chance to pay the charge at a reduced amount and also the opportunity for a second stage appeal. I.E. the IAS as they are required to offer, even though we know how futile that would be.

I don't think this is a new tactic. I'm sure it's been going on for years.

It seems strange that more post from PPCs seems to go missing than any mail from any other industry in the UK.

Lack of any regulation means that the more savvy PPC will keep pushing the boundaries.

The IPC isn't interested and shockingly, despite coining in millions from the sale of individuals' personal data, the DVLA has no interest either in upsetting the gravy train, despite some of the worst excesses perpetrated by PPCs in the pursuit of self enrichment.

I think the DVLA etc have kicked off about the "this is not a parking charge" thing used by them , there are several cases on forums where they are sat on cases refusing to actually say "go to IPC"

no ~NTK , to late for appeal = no IPC

time will tell , but dont expect vcs loss to be publicized by gladrags

it could be possible that VCS are actually banned from access , and knowing the way they do not give to hoots , passing VRN to debt crawlers who are doing DVLA bit

    * its the passing of driver details , not the emailing of vrn,s that is against KADOE rules
