Finders fee

Wasn’t sure where to post this, sorry.
I work in healthcare, and my employer put a note in our message book offering a finders fee for anyone we know who wants a job. I got my friend to apply, she got a job, but I’m not allowed a finders fee as she went through the indeed website, but they knew she was applying because of me. Also, I did go to work one day for an application form and no one was in the office, so I left a note with her details on. The business has a day centre side, and a care side, she applied to the day centre side first of all, and I was told that in interview it was established that she was better off on the care side, therefore I’m owed nothing. But her note in the book didn’t specifically say which side ppl were to apply for, I did actually take a copy of her note as well.
If, infact I’m wrong, then so be it, I’d just appreciate any help, Thankyou xx

I know we do it and we’re told to refer them directly so they prob are right if she didn’t apply direct as they will have paid indeed to get her details.:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

Ahhh ok, makes sense, thanks
Just annoyed she wasn’t specific as to how you get a finders fee, rather wait till after.0 -
Her note didn’t say that ppl were to apply directly.0

Might be worth bringing it up with hr or a service manager as they might be able to get it sorted, but normally for us we have to get them to refer direct.
Other thing is I know with us they have to stay so long, or like this have to do so many hours so that might be worth checking

Was it through an email as if so might be worth forwarding that and checking:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

A lot of employment agencies will give people around £100 a time if they get people to join the agency.0

Finder fees are usually for bypassing agency fees.
Get it clarified for future referrals.0 -
Well, because there was no one in the office, and we couldn’t find any application forms, she applied through the website after waiting for them to contact her after I left her details on their desk. I can understand now why they’re not paying, but my managers message left in the message book didn’t specifically say how anyone was to apply. It’s not the money issue, it’s the principle of offering but side tracking how not to pay. It’s not something the company offers as a rule.0

The only hold-up I was expecting was for her to work her probationary, not a round the bushes lol0

It’s prob to get as much work out of them as possible as recruitment costs so much with training and stuff.
Google your company refer a friend and see what comes up. I don’t work for them above but I think it’s sadly the terms in many:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

Whenever I have worked in places that do this, it tends to be the norm that you ask the person how they apply.
Its not the norm that you tell your friend to go on to a recruitment site.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
