If you're using tinned tomatoes, heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add one small onion and one garlic clove and cook until softened. Add the tinned tomatoes, two teaspoons tomato paste, salt, pepper and one teaspoon sugar and any herbs. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes or until the sauce thickens.

Well done to all the losers!Glad I not going that class every week yawn. Consultant goes round and tells you what everyone put on or lost then clap clap clap.
This is why I stopped going to SW class. Our's was the same every week, and our consultant gained about 2 stone in the time I went, which all the class used to b!t@h about in the pre-class chit chat. I had to stop going because a chap my OH works with went, and he would sit closest to the front listening in to all the people chatting as they queued. He'd then gossip about people at work. Felt that was really bad, and this chap's wife was on the team of helpers who recorded the weights, so couldn't trust those two. It's small town mentality where I live, so everyone seems to know everyone (I didn't grow up here, so have a semblance of flying under the radar). The clap, clap, clap even if 'Sandra' ate rubbish and never stuck to the plan, and was only there becuase she got free membeship from the GP, really didn't sit well with me. Maybe I just don't mix well with others? :rotfl:Yes i made it in the instant pot, pressure cooker
Would you recommend using an instant pot? What do you think cooks best in it? I'm not really that familiar with them, but am interested to know.
Have done a bit of sorting out here today. I'm a bit of a hoarder, and since last summer have promised myself that each weekend I throw out at least one thing. Today has been a good day, and I've thrown out several things. :T:A
Food today:
B - banana
L - bacon, LM veggie sausages (1), eggs, mushrooms, onions. 1 slice w/m bread HEB
D - M&S Cumberland pie (11?) (can anyone advise on the syns for this? It was less fat/cals than the cottage pie. Will look up the nutrition info.) with broccoli & carrots
Nutrition values: 1/4 pack 312 cals; sat.fat - 5.1; carbs 29.4; sugar - 6g; fibre 4.2g; protein 21.3g - 312 on the 20 cals per syn rule of thumb makes it 15.6 syns. I can live with that, it was delicious, and far better than the McD's or KFC we used to always have on a Saturday night. Totally stuffed now too.
HEA milk in tea/coffee
OH is feeling a bit queasy, really hope he's not caught the norovirus that's doing the rounds locally. So it's dinner for one tonight. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
