Thanks for the info, but please could you explain how this works and how you know? It's not that I don't believe you, but that I am insatiably curious! :)

    No problem at all! :D

If a link were going to also sign you in, it would need you login details, username and password, so therefore you'd need a specific link for each user with this details, unlike the generic link which has the answer tagged on the end.

Therefore you need to be signed in and when you click the link, PB "knows" you're signed in and therefore registers the complete grid as being submitted by you. This is the same for anyone who clicks and therefore we can all use the same link.

Since the links for the daily quizzes apparently log me in and feed in the right answer, I'm not surprised.

The links to the daily quizzes don't submit the answer for you, they navigate you to the correct page, however you still need to select the answer and click submit and the PB page will then tell you that you're correct and you've been entered into the draw. Again you'd need to be login in to ensure the answers are being submitted in your PB details.

    Yes, of course. Very true.

Thank you very much for the explanation.

don't think there's any consistency to this, i got nov at beg of dec but previously had aug and sept "most active" both on the same day at the beg of nov, so if we're going to get any they could come any time in the next 3 months!!
