    Aha!! Thanks keelycat!

Now could you explain whether you were already signed in to PB, or did you just click on the link without having any other PB pages open on screen?

Sorry, not meant to be interrogating you!! Just trying to find out what does actually work! Obviously, it's simplest if a mere click on the link does work.

Hi droops, If you look at the link for the completed crossword, it ends -
    SIDEINCLUDESTOEAEEAUNCOVERANNOYBKERVMSBASINOPERASOTWRPRESISTCUCKOONHCNLPOTATOLOCALTRTFERURATIOFASTESTIEMESWEPUNISHEDUSED

This is the answers/letters that complete the cross word starting from the top left box and working across to the right and down until you get to the bottom right hand corner.

Hope this sort of makes sense? Basically the link directly submits all of the letters in the crossword grid.
Oh yes, I know that. But until keelycat's last post, we didn't know that a simple click on the completed grid link was also enough to sign you in to the PB site as well. And keely's answer so far takes us part of the way there.

You need to be signed in to PB for the completed crossword to be registered in your PB details, you don't however have to be signed into MSE to use the link.

    Hope this helps.

I have the links as a macro, one click and they are in the post.

Then I just have to put the answers in.

But yes they are to fast posting them, but that is a good thing.
How do you make a macro please.

I log into pigsback first, and then click on the links from here for answers and that includes the completed crossword link....it must work as i did win it once?

Thanks for the info, but please could you explain how this works and how you know? It's not that I don't believe you, but that I am insatiably curious! :)

Thanks for bringing me up to scratch, keely.

Since the links for the daily quizzes apparently log me in and feed in the right answer, I'm not surprised. But I'm very pleased to have your confirmation. Perhaps I missed your earlier posting when I was away from home and without the lappy!

It would but I type so slowly that by the time I had finished somebody else would have posted them.

If somebody else wants to post the rest in one go feel free, I have to go off line until lunch time ... bye

you could try posting the first question / answer to show others that you are doing them and then edit that first post to add the other q /a `s.
