Private Parking Ticket Fine Advise needed

Hello all,
To sum up, I want to park at my Sainsbury’s retail park managed by ECP on a Sunday to meet a friend to apply to 1 of the businesses there, apparently after working hours you’re only allowed to park for 10 minutes which I wasn’t aware off. The entrances were blocked by people and I told them I’m seeing a friend and they let me in, no one told me you’re only allowed 10 minutes they only advise me as I leave...
I have been ignoring the letters, any advise moving forward? Keep ignoring?

if you were on site to apply for a job , and indeed did apply , then contact the company and explain what has happened and ask them to intervene0

I ended up not applying to it, is there anything else I could use to my defence?0

you should not have been on land then , OR as per info in BPA + IPC code of practice , understood that a 10 min grace period is the max they have to give you
you would be better getting tailored advice on the parking sub forum
ignoring parking Cos has not been recommended since the POFa 2012 , they can and will take you to county court if you continue with ignoring , it will cost them £25 to start court action0 -
Yes I understand that I shouldn’t be there now but I wasn’t aware of it at the time
Where is this parking Sub forum? Any other advise you can give?0 -

Thanks, I had a read, what I will do is complain to the landowner (assuming Sainsbury’s as their the largest store there) if that fails is it best to ask them for a reduced rate and get a payment plan?
Out of interest if I continue to ignore then the costs will just rock up, how high can they rock up to?0 -
any court claim can only be started by parking Co , NOT debt collection companies
most debt collectors add £60 or so , they are on no win no fee
the max you can legally be charged in county court is the original non discounted of £100 + 2 x £25 court fees = max of £50 for legal/
they may try to sneak a default if they have no contact , the courts will not check figures and happily accept £300-400 as acceptable
I cannot see how you have read that link a: so quickly and b: missed the facts above0 -
What is the basis of your complaint, that you lied to the staff to get access to the property and didn't read the clearly displayed notices so don't believe you should have to pay the penalty charge? This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
