Hi. How do I find out when a default notice was first issued? I've looked on the 3 free credit reports and don't quite know what I'm looking for. TIA

Find the account that’s defaulted and it will also list the date of default under one of the headers0

A Default notice, and a default on your credit file, are two very separate things, default notices can be issued and not acted upon.
If you want to know when a particular account defaulted, then as Gary points out above, the date of default will be listed on your credit file.
An example would be something like this :
Name Mr Joe bloggs
Address 36 any street, any town, any city
Date of birth xx/xx/xxxx
Account type Telecommunications Supplier
Account number **************
Account start date 01/08/2014
Opening balance £ 1,823
Repayment frequency Monthly
**Date of default 05/07/2017**
Default balance £ 1,823I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
