You can do it Buffy :)

    It turns out I can't.
Annoyingly it turns out my car insurance is due, 28th Jan (!) so that took away 756 pounds of 800 which was this month's payment to the debt.

I bought the insurance on my CC but have paid it off immediately.

I might be able to pay a 1250 off by April.

    Feb - 600, March 650.

So that is the plan. new revised plan.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

  • Morning everyone!
Almost payday for me, feel like I've been saying that for ages :rotfl:
Does anyone else feel so guilty when they spend extra money on something other than debt??
I had a much needed night out, (haven't been out for 3 years ) and now I feel SO guilty that I could have put that money towards debt repayments. Tell me I'm not alone :embarasse

Wow 3 years please don't feel guilty for that. I do feel guilty every time I buy a coffee and cake out. My weekly treat that £5 could be off my debts but you have to enjoy life as well. Hope you had a great time. I have resisted all nights out so far this month, quite easy as still don't feel 100% and it's cosier at home this time of year:D

It's so hard isn't it! I feel like I'm obsessing so much about clearing my debts that I'm almost scared to enjoy myself :(

Think of going out after 3 years as a little treat to yourself..........you need a treat every once in a while whilst on your debt free journey otherwise it might have a negative affect on your state of mind. Maybe aim for a small target and treat yourself after you've accomplished your target.

My treat to myself is to buy a charcoal chenille high headboard bed once I've cleared my barclaycard xx
