all totally impartial of course but has anyone got suggestions for more risky higher yield funds, my funds carried through from last year barely moved and i'm looking to take part out to spread into something a little more exciting and a bit more volitile, It will be an ISA packaged fund through interactive investor but they cover most common funds so i'm just looking for impartial suggestions for a punt!
Thanks in advance

Hi, Carpy,
No specific suggestions, I'm afraid; but as a general thought, you could look at Emerging Markets, Asia, Eastern Europe and Russia for interesting regions and commodity and energy, technology and equity income for interesting sectors, all IMHO. Trustnet has details of funds -

I know that you know this but I will say it anyway - " interesting ", " volatile " and
" exciting " make for investing fun but you need to make an extra effort to be well diversified in case the wheels come off :-).

I've recently put a little in latin america. Having already put some into China a couple of years ago. I'm currently adding to a spread a non-mainstream property funds into my portfolio.
Don't know if they are going to be any good or not but i have such a diversified portfolio, that a bit in these places makes little or no difference.
