He cannot use the POFA if your son admitted to driving, so remove that, and admit in the defence that he was the driver (be honest and run with that stance, it will make him a more valid and truthful witness at the hearing in the eyes of the Judge).
And this is wrong, the 'IPC' changed their name in 2016 ish, and no longer stands for that:the Claimant’s trade body (Independent Parking Community)
If the named 'Defendant' is your son, just a reminder to make sure he, not you, defends! You would not believe how some people just don't get that right...the Claim gives the D's name and that's the person who signs the defence, then later completes the other forms and submits their WS/evidence, and has to turn up in due course, to win.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you for your helpful amendments, Coupon-mad. He is coming round to submit this defence himself tomorrow or Friday.0

My son has received the DQ. We don't have any problems filling it out, except for one point, even after reading Bargepole's helpful guide.
My son has a couple of members of the gym he attends, where the parking took place, who are willing to write to state that they also have been allowed to park in the same place, without incident and it is commonly accepted that parking in the place concerned is ok.
He doesn't want to give them the hassle of attending court just to state what would be on the letter, so, firstly, is the court going likely to accept the written evidence and secondly, are they listed as witnesses even though they won't be attending court.
Sorry if this is a silly question and I hope it makes sense, however he doesn't want to potentially rule this evidence out by stating 1 witness on the form, or stating 3 witnesses and two aren't going to be there without checking here first.0 -
Only specify the number of witnesses that are expecting to turn up.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with having two other witness statements, although they may not be given too much credit if the witnesses aren't present.
When completed, the DQ should be returned to the CCBC using the same email address used for the Defence.
Don't forget to send a copy of the completed DQ to the Claimant - address on the Claim Form.0
