Hi, would appreciate some help please on the following;
I've received 3 letters(Lloyds/Natwest/RBS) stating someone has tried to open account/credit card/loan with my details-all have been denied and marker put on CIFAS about this so hopefully it will warn other financial institutions and stop further applications. I've spoken to my bank to make them aware of this as well.
I've looked at the pages on here re checking my credit score and know I need to check all three but do I do them at the same time or stagger it? Does it really matter?
Finally, is there anything else you can recommend I do for identity protection...many thanks.

It doesn't really matter, its not the score your checking but your history, only you can see the score.0

I love my job0 -
Thank you both for the speedy replies...My apologies, I'm not actually looking for a credit score but a full history to check if any other applications have been made. I was told to check all three(by the banks) to cover all bases. Just needed to know if there was any issue doing that at the same time. (I gather this is when I sign up for 30 days free trial and cancel before payment starts to get a full history)0

No. Just check them for free via MSE, Noddle and Clearscore.
No need for trials and payments.0 -
thank you for you reply, especially as that sounds a heck of a lot easier;)0

I'm guessing that you're thinking that being "credit checked" three times in a row is bad?
As others have said only you can see searches of your own file so you can check as often as you like, lenders won't see the searches.0 -
Ah well, thanks for the thought...
-noodle have said they can't verify identity therefore can't provide a credit report at all
-clearscore have requested I attach two photographs to the form:
One photo of a current photographic UK Driving Licence OR the photo page of your current passport
AND One photo of yourself holding your ID and send it to them.
-MSE have verifications pending which may take up to 2 days.
I'm presuming this is due to the notification in CIFAS re possible ID theft.0
