SO I have one of these in my garage, its been working fine up until a few days ago.......now it just keeps cutting out after a matter of minutes.
I've pulled all the covers off and cannot visually see anything thats gone adrift.
Does anyone know if there's a fault-finding method to determine where the issue lies?

What temperature is it in the garage? Minimum working temp 5°C. Try it in the house?
My dehumidifier appears to be a similar design, a 20W fan blows for 3 minutes before the 200W refrigeration unit kicks in. That might explain why yours cuts out after a few minutes.0 -
The User Manual is pretty rubbish on Troubleshooting (page 7) but it does give a Customer Services phone number!0

Does it have an input air filter, that has become clogged up with dirt/debris
Our EBAC needs regular cleaning - or it does exactly what you are describing..0 -
Thank you to everyone who has replied.
So, the temp in the garage was about +8c I guess, but the display was dodging between +14c and +5c which i thought was unusual, normally its stable at the room temp.
As you say its as if the fan works but can't kick in the main pump
I pulled the covers off, admittedly the filters were dirty, so i cleaned them....its now running with no covers at all as I wanted to see if the condenser on the back was icing up and it isn't.0 -
Hi, just a note to say I took it all to bits, cleaned out the sensor gadget on the back at the top of the matrix, put it back and it works fine......now I am not saying that was deffo the problem, it might well have just been that this machine wanted a Christmas break :beer:0
