My Mam has a basic bank account at the TSB and she needs to pay a cheque in, but the nearest branch is about 8 miles away.
Can she (or I) pay the cheque in using my local PO?
Thanks

Your mum should write her sort code and account number on the back of the cheque, and also take photos of the front and back of the cheque. It seems a sensible precaution to take, and doubly so with the chaotic TSB0

It would be the same as we do with paying in to First Direct, obtain an envelope from PO and just hand over with a pay-in slip, receipt provided.0
