I'm guessing that your IP address has been blocked.0

It'd be weird to block just one IP, especially given that anyone with any nous would just turn the router off for half an hour or so and it'll get you a new IP (or however long it takes these days - I've seen 5 minutes and 2 hours quoted on google just now). Possible the ISP has been blocked or a range perhaps, who knows. Have you been spamming the forum or making dodgy posts :P
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I've had that but I was in Sri Lanka at the time on the hotel WiFi. Contacted mse but they couldn't remove the block so was forum free on holiday.0

We're on PlusNet and haven't had problems accessing the site. Sounds like your IP has been blocked, as you say. Don't know about you but our IP doesn't change that often, and switching the thing on and off again doesn't make any difference either.taking a self-enforced break from this forum due to the persistent and ongoing troll problem, and the systematic abuse of the report button system in order to get people/usernames banned0

I get the same message too, I only seem to get the message If I try and edit a post say 30 seconds after Ive posted it so Its not like I cant access the forums nor am I blocked from posting. I did send an email and was told to contact them again if it happened.0

Test post, will edit within 30 seconds and after 30 seconds..
Lets see if I get it also.
EDIT 1: Under 30 seconds
EDIT 2: 1 Minute
EDIT 3: Over 1 Minute...
Seems fine here.. Even editing and saving just seconds apart. Does not trigger the you must wait 60 seconds between posts.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

IP addresses don't get changed just by turning off and on again, it needs a decent length of time and enough other users needing a new IP address to get assigned yours. If your router was off for a couple of days I'd expect you'd get a new one, 2 minutes and you won'tMy IP address last changed at the end of January this year, and I've have several power cuts since then...
It depends how your ISP works and how long before they refresh it all.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

Many providers will link the MAC address of the broadband modem to an IP address. Therefore it often doesn't matter how many times you try turning off/on you'll almost always get the same IP address - this is a semi-sticky IP address.
If you're able to change the MAC address of your modem then you'll probably get a new IP address when you reconnect.0
