In the top line there are TWO fireworks + TWO fireworks + TWO fireworks = 24
So each single firework = 4 (24 divided by 6)

So the last line is ONE firework Plus one bottle plus one glass
    = 4+3+7 = 14
  • I think you need to check the number of objects AND the functions....
  • There's only one firework in the last equation not two (which the rest have) The bottles are 5

I thought the bottles were 3?

Double firework is 8, bottles are 3, cocktail is 7.

So first equation is double firework, double firework, double firework = 24 which would equate to 8+8+8 = 24.

Second equation is double firework, bottle, bottle which would equate to 8+bottle+bottle = 14. 14-8 is 6 so each bottle is 3.

Third equation is bottle-bottle+cocktail = 7 which equates to 3-3+cocktail. 3-3 = 0 so the cocktail must be equal to 7 to get 7 as the answer to that question.

The fourth equation is single firework+bottle+cocktail. We know that a double firework is 8, so that must mean that a single firework is 4. Therefore this last equation is 4+3+7 which gives the answer as 14. :)
