I have absolutely nothing to show for that money which makes me feel sick.
Ah the dreaded consolidation loan. Never works in clearing debts. Luckily the interest rate is low. When does the MBNA deal finish? My family don't know the extent of our debt so I don't want to ask them to wait as they will know.
We would be judged and every time we even bought a chocolate bar comments would be made. My mental health has been affected by this so I don't want to make it worseStarting 2019 with £37376.63 of debt

Yesterday was a no spend day which I'm really pleased with. Today should be too.
Tomorrow is pay day so I'll get to cross off some debt payments which I'm excited about.Starting 2019 with £37376.63 of debt

A low spend day today.
£11 for a bulb for the car
£19 in sainsburys but that should get us through the week.
I have so much food in the cupboards I just need to do an inventory and plan it out.
The week ahead will be an easy one. I'm off work from Tuesday and we are eating at my MIL on NYD.
I am going to Cheshire Oaks on Wednesday but that's budgeted and I only want to buy some good quality jeans, trousers and a top.
I've got no other plans the rest of the weekStarting 2019 with £37376.63 of debt

Hi! Sounds like you're really motivated - you've got this! I too consolidated last year and yet we have 5 credit cards again - lesson learnt there! luckily they are on 0% so focussing on getting them paid off before the aprs kick in and letting the loan run on as at leasts its a set amount!

Today is pay day!! We can't pay off as much as we will be able to in Feb but we have paid off 1.7% of our total debt this month.
I am so happy that we are off the mark for 2019!
It is going to be a low spend day today. We are having a takeaway for New Year. We are spending it at home just the two of us which I am excited about.
@Mum.Wife.Me. This is exactly how we did it. We consolodated and then got into more debt. It is ludicrous when I look back. Good luck with your journey.Starting 2019 with £37376.63 of debt

It's nice to see figures coming down
1.7% is a good chuck, and it helps to see that it's coming down rather then up,
