Was notified after close of business on 20th December by e-mail that application for B&C savings account was rejected. Send e-mail and also proof of identity and letter of explanation, along with other copy documents special delivery to arrived on Monday 24th December. Despite Raisin signing for this that morning, there was no one on customer services that day "closed for UK holiday" at their head office in Manchester, was the answerphone message when attempting to phone.
Today, (Thursday 27th December) spoke to a Raisin representative in Berlln as the call was diverted there. He was trying his best, I'm sure, however, stated that no one would be able to contact me until 2nd January 2019 at the earliest to provide a way forward. By then, 25 days following receiving a bank transfer, Raisin will not have benefited me by investing on their platform, despite already receiving the promised bonus, I am really very unhappy.,

Did you really expect anyone to action your "proof of identity and letter of explanation" on Christmas Eve or on any of the two Bank Holidays since then?
Even during the normal course of the year, I would expect to wait at least five WORKING DAYS
and you have another Bank Holiday next week..0 -

Says they respond in three working days. As it it Christmas, there has not been three working days from 20th until now!0 -
Hello Blackbeard of Perranporth, thank you for your reply. I beg to differ, as far as bank holidays are concerned they are the 25th December and 26th December, and of course next week 1st January. That makes Raisin available on 21st, 24th, 27th, 28th and 31st December available to work. If I hear anything on 2nd January, that will be six working days later! In addition, it took them nine full working days to reject an application which is also unacceptable.0

How dare the staff at Raisin be allowed to take holidays. Most office jobs have skeleton staff at this time of year.0

But they didn't receive your documents until 24th, so that's when the 3 working days commence.
Hardly their fault you didn't supply the correct documentation when you applied in the first place.0 -
My wife applied online to open a Raisin account on 16th December and was asked to send identification documentation by email which she did on 18th December. She is still waiting to be able to fund her account which just states identification in progress. Recent secure messages to customer services have gone unanswered.0
