Two months ago I finally got a 2nd card. Why doesn't my credit score reflect that?

I had a low limit with Capitol for a few years. I built up my credit, and was offered a better card with double that limit. It's been two months since, I've had a balance and paid off those balances on time on both cards. My credit limit has doubled, yet my Capitol statement only reflects my limit as my old limit. My new credit limit is not yet being recognized on their "credit wise" credit score monitoring system, for those who are familiar. **Edit: Credit Wise appears to use Transunion for reporting. Report says only "1 account" being reported, although I have 2 cards with Capitol.

What gives??

Thank you.

Because your CRA credit score is a pretty meaningless number and even if were relevant 2 months is nothing in terms of demonstrating you can manage credit.

Keep using the card and pay in full every month and your credit history will look better but forget the score......only you see that mystical number.

CreditWise in the USA use TransUnion.

It sounds as if the CRA Capital One are using haven't updated your report/files yet, which is why it's not showing your increased limit.

I don't know what the process is for the U.S. is but in the U.K. it can usually take up to a couple of months for changes to be reflected on your files.
It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.

I very much suspect the OP will be working in $ not £. :)
