We need tv advice! Currently have Sky tv, phone and broadband package which we’ve had for years. Sky box has gone funny , recording often corrupted. We don’t need all the rubbish channels we get, hardly watch most of them. Tv is not a smart one. We like what we’ve seen of Netflix and think we might be better getting phone and internet from another provider getting rid of Sky, getting free view and Netflix but would need a new tv and aerial we think. What do people suggest? As I said, we don’t watch a lot of tv but do like to record som things for later

You could use freesat rather than freeview, then you wouldn't need an ariel (AFAIK). Wouldn't necessarily need a new TV - if you're getting a PVR anyway, to recorcd (such as a humax freesat pvr), could just use that as your tuner.0

If you use your Sky dish as the reciever for Freesat and buy a Humax freesat box you will be all set. As long as you don't have Sky Q, it's just a straight plug and go.
The Humax HDR 1100S will turn your TV into a 'Smart' set up and has Netflix built in.
