Thanks helpers .. fwor I didn’t actually know I could do that to search.. so it was helpful advice, though actually I m not phased by googling for answers or unfamiliar with googling . It’s just I’m not into the hardware stuff . So not offended .
I ve been too busy earning a crust today - haha I cope with a laptop for most of my day job. I m going to do as suggested and swap over the box and check cables . I actually suspect that when I got a new fitted carpet a while back the chap damaged the cable and finally it’s given up the ghost, I think some signals have been weak for sometime . I didn’t want to disturb the carpet but I think that will be the solution . I m very grateful for help and assistance all0
