i have been on asus website and downloaded elan touchpad driver, which i have saved, but dont know what to do next
usually screen pops up asking if i want to run program.
but no screen pop up for this , so dont know what to do next
Double click on the file to run it or open it if it is a zip file in which case it'll create a folder with some files in, you find the installer file to run in those and double click on that to run it. It appears you lack some quite fundamental knowledge in how to use Windows if you don't know how to open or run a downloaded file so may I suggest buying the Windows for Dummies book and have a look through it? It is well recommended as it shows how to do tasks in simple plain language assuming no previous knowledge so is easier to take in.
