Not sure what you are asking but there are a couple of points

first of all you say they are oin portrait mode but you want them in landscape mode. does that  mean you want to rotate the video so that everybody is sideways, or do you want to have black lines each side of the portrait mode or do you want to cut them down so that they become landscape but you lose the top and bottom parts of the portrait video

Next you say you want to copy them to DVD - what do you mean by this? do you mean that you want to burn the MP4 video files as a data file to the DVD or do you mean you want to convert into DVD format ie VOB etc so the DVD is playable on a standard DVD player

If the former then you simply burn the MP4 file to the DVD using DVD burning software - windows 10 has this function built-in

If the latter then you will have to convert your MP4 files into video structure format including the folder video-ts. once you have done this you can then burn that structure to the DVD as above

    Hi,

I have number of wedding videos on my mobile and pictures which I would transfer to a DVD. Can you suggest a good free Video Editing software. The allot of videos I have are in portrait mode. When videos are transferred I would it to be in landscape mode.

    Thanks

Why why why would anyone film in portrait mode??  :#

Windows 10 has its own video editor app.  No idea how good it is but it meets the other criteria of being free.

I struggled to find a simple video editor.  But Shotcut worked really well and is relatively easy to use.  It seems to be compatible with lots of audio/video different file types.

I tried to use it and found it to be quite good, easy to use. But I find https://gamestoremobi.com/kinemaster-pro.html better suited to smartphones.
