Jump on a tariff that doesn't charge a standing charge - the unit rate will be higher but that's the way it is. You can select this as a filter option on the Energy Club.0

Ebico is generally a good choice as they offer a tariff with no standing charge, though I found their customer service particularly poor.
You can use any comparison site, just set your annual usage to zero or as low a value as the site will accept.0 -
