OR Investigations

I went BR at the beginning of OCT and have not heard a thing from anyone.
How long does it take (on average) for the OR to conduct his/her investigations and what should I be looking out for in the post?
It seems very quite.
Thanks

How can they investigate if you have not had the first interview
seems very strange. I had my first letter a week after BR, unfortunately it arrived the night before the interview due to the postal strike, so I had two more week's grace.
Maybe your OR office is very busy ?0 -

"How long is a piece of string?"
In most cases they try to get the 'report to creditors' done by about 8 weeks. But where things go from there and how long it takes depends on your case and how busy the OR's office is.
Unless the OR has any issues to sort out with you, it could well be 2-3 months before you hear anything (maybe).Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Hi stubie, my OH is coming up to his 6th week now, the only thing hes had is a IPA form to sign for the NT tax code 'thingy' , which he signed, sent back, and the OR waited a certain amount of days before they signed it too, and sent him a copy. Not heard anything from agent collecting the tax payments yet
..........dont really know if this is a typical time frame tho.....HTH:beer: 0 -
I went BR at the beginning of September and haven't heard a lot - had my interview, signed and have had returned my tax code IPA forms and have received a letter from Clarke Wilmott about the IPA, but nothing else - although I kind of figure no news is good news!0

Thanks for the replies, I had to drag this thread backup as my broadband has been down for the past 10 days.
I signed that IPA Tax code form a week after going BR, did not know it was an IPA thingy and thats the last I heard.
I will wait to see if my tax code gets changed and put a side the surplus. From memory I think I forward that tax to another company?0 -
If you have been assigned to Clarke Wilmott they will write to you once a month for a copy of your payslip until they see the nil code has been applied, they will then send you a paying in book (for Natwest) to pay your tax to each month. That is what they did with me anyway.
Hope this helps.Went BR 25th May 2007 at 12.33, OR Interview now done. BSC No 880
