Utilities Switch: Ombudsman Settlement & Cashback (Cheap Energy Club)

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but it's the closest match I could find.
I switched both fuels through the CEC to a fixed price tariff in mid May 2018, and last week finally got the settlement offer from the energy ombudsman, as Npower needed to slightly alter my address in the national database, but just didn't, and it was holding up the changeover for gas!
I will get the difference in price back, for gas only, from what I did pay (expensive standard tariff at Npower) and what I should have paid on the new tariff at co-op, dual fuel etc. Also, they are offering £75 compensation.
My question: I have had the cashback for the electricity part of my switch, since that settled months ago, but will I still get the gas cashback, even though it has been many months since I initiated the switch to co-op energy?
I have contacted co-op to ask what the difference in elec prices would have been, to see if the £75 compensation will cover it, otherwise I will be out of pocket in the end anyway  I want to factor in the loss of cashback too, if it happens. I hope not. This has been a real saga!
Any advice, or experience of getting the cashback after a long delay is very welcome. Thanks all.

You will only get your share of the cash back if your new supplier has paid a referral fee to CEC.

Thanks @Hengus. I'll ask co-op if they will be paying the rest of the referral fee to CEC.0
