Highview parking notice

Hi everyone, merry Christmas.
I’ve just received a parking notice from high view parking. I have moved to Wales after holidaying here for many years and parked on what used to be a free parking car park in the winter. I know I should have checked but I didn’t. Anyway I paid Royal Mail to divert my post and the letter has taken 3 weeks to arrive since the incident so the parking fee is £70. It would have been half if I had paid earlier but it’s 4 days too late for that 🙁
I have also used the car park and not paid at least another 2 times since then, obviously I won’t do that again. Can I please have some advise, I feel like my Christmas has been ruined, it’s such an expensive time of year. Many thanks

At the top of this board is a thread that tells Newbies to read it first. In the first post of that thread is a template in blue.
Send that appeal template and see how quickly they cancel the ticket. The fastest they have been so far is 2 hours.0 -
Ok, sorry. Many thanks. I am also concerned about the fact that my car has been parked there twice since so I am expecting more notices, do I do the same with those. Will they make the connection and think I am a repeat offender who ignores parking conditions? Which certainly isn’t the case, the whole episode has made me feel ill

Send the blue template for each ticket. Multiple tickets does make things harder but at this stage there is little else you can do.
Make sure you have a good read of the Newbies thread though.0 -
The online appeal asks me to tick whether I was the driver or not, is it ok to click that I wasn’t the driver? It allows you to continue appeal without choosing one and I don’t want to do the wrong thing0

You are appealing as the registered keeper. Never ever say, or even hint at, who the driver was.
Watch for that box mysteriously reverting back to saying you were the driver before you hit send.0 -
Thank you, I’ve sent the appeal.0

good , rinse and repeat for any more that arrive
no blabbing about who may have been driving
and read the BPA CoP about the rules when a new PPC takes over a car park0 -
Thanks for your help, I’ve just had an email cancelling my notice

Happy new year!0 -
