Engineered door reduce height?

I need to replace an internal door but nearest size i. Can find is an inch too big in height
Would I be able to reduce it without damaging it

Are you taking the flooring into consideration? Usually that's about 10-12mm.
Depending on the door you might have to take a bit from top and bottom, not so important if it's a solid wood door.0
