Thanks, and same to you! As someone also in the buying/selling process at the moment, I know I've found myself frustrated with this mandatory break and wishing it would just be over so we could get on with it, but nevertheless I think it's important to try use it to refresh ourselves, to relax and and enjoy some of the important things in life if we can.
Merry Christmas all!0 -
We purposely set our expected date for completion after Xmas as it would have been too much to do it before hand.
I’m actually trying to appreciate the calm before the storm that is to come in January.. We are lucky to have our health, friends/family around us at this time of year and a roof over our head. Many are not so lucky unfortunately.
Merry Xmas to all too.0 -

Merry Christmas all!
Same here, was supposed to complete December 7th , all packed up and find that part of the garden on the house we are buying had to go through an adverse possession application.
Our buyers went ahead and completed and have been stuck in a holiday let since
We would have been home for xmas , but still waiting to exchange and away from family for another year... thankfully I have just found out that the application has been completed but due to xmas shut down nothing can be done until after hols
We will get there ..all of us xx0 -

Merry Xmas to all too.
We will be away from family again this year as our move is long distance.
Really mixed feelings leaving here though , made friends with the ferals living in our barn *vet advised me that they would suffer if I took them with me) my neighbour and local farm feed them as well and our buyers are animal lovers too.
I will miss the owls who live in our trees at night and the farmers donkey !!
Neighbours who have been the best ones ever but so looking forward to be part of my Grandsons life again ...
This has got to be the last move now...0
