Does anyone know where you stand if you order something to qualify for their free gift and when it arrives it doesn't even work?
The gift is now unavailable (i presume out of stock) so where doe i stand, am i entitled to get a different gift or money off my order or are these just easy ways to get customers and once they have your money they don't care?

It really depends on what the free item is, and what the item that bought was?Gone ... or have I?0

If you signed up for something to get the free gift , then under the sale of goods act it is deemed as a purchase, however if you just got a freebie without any commitment then you could try to get them to change it (statutory rights) fit for the purpose.0

I guess they'll either offer you a "suitable alternative", or you could cancel the order if you wanted the free gift so badly!! If it's a FREE gift, I doubt you'll get a discount!! (or they might be cheeky and discount it £0.00!!)Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
