Yes, state pension depends on contributions, but that's a reasonable example. From the first post state pension deferral looks unlikely and drawing from 60 for early retirement more likely. Or sooner if income needs can be met.The state pension ... depends entirely on the OP's NI contribution record ... assumptions on deferring the state pension could be misplaced
